    In order to enhance and nurture the work force in the Maryland area, Burnalong is opening it's learn on the job program for first or second year undergraduate students of Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar careers. Our unique internship offers the opportunity to work in the most upcoming startup technology company in Maryland area with focus on the health and fitness industry.

QA Analyst Intern:

The intern on the role of QA Analyst intern will be train and learn to be able to effectively perform the following activities:

 

The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for supporting the planning, design and execution of system testing on simple to complex implementations. The QA Analyst works collaboratively within the IT department and business units to execute and validate test cases based upon system requirements.

Other responsibilities include:

Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports on multiple projects of varying size.

Perform testing on various software, mobile as well as server based and reporting systems.

Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process.

Review user requirements documents to ensure that requirements are testable.

Draft release notes based on ComSpec

 

Total hours : Up to 25 hours per week.


At the end of the program BurnAlong will evaluate the performance of the intern and determine if there is an opportunity to join as a full time member of the team.
